This past year, I had the honor of being nominated for my portrayal of Percy Talbot in "The Spitfire Grill" at Palm Beach Dramaworks. The show was also nominated for Best Musical, with a total of 7 nominations overall. Award Ceremony is April 6th.

I got the honor of going on for the role of Alice Murphy for the first time last night, and will now be performing as the Alice alternate once a week until the end of the run. Set performance dates are Dec 21 (3pm), Dec 27 (3pm), Dec 29 (2pm), Jan 5, (7pm), and Jan 11 (3pm).

Earlier last month, I was asked to perform in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA as a part of "Pure Imagination", a gala celebrating the one year anniversary of Epicurean Santa Barbara created by Keith Robinson and Amy Baer Robinson. I worked with Keith and Amy on their original musical Standby in the 2012 Fringe Festival in NYC. Performing alongside me are two other NYC actors Matt Shingledecker and Alex Goley!

2007 is off to an awesome start because I have been selected as a featured artist on XM Satellite Radio's The Radar Report. The Radar Report, which airs on XM's channel 43, features unsigned up and coming artists who they feel are making a wave in the music scene. Beating out over 500 weekly submissions, I was one of 13 artists to receive this honor. My self-penned songs "Blind to the Light" and "Dangerously" were the two tracks from my CD that were played. The show also aired on AOL and Direct TV.

JERSEY GUYS gave me two thumbs up! Late Wednesday afternoon, August 9th, I made my live radio debut with Carton and Rossi of the NJ101.5 Jersey Guys show! Performing an acoustic version of "Blind to the Light", I received on air calls and emails from all over the globe giving rave reviews! Ray Rossi, a 30 year old veteran radio DJ, scored me a 9 out of 10 for this performance. Co host Craig Carton challenged me to sing an on the spot, acapella version of Etta James' "At Last", before he would award me a score. After singing, Carton said, "In 5 years of doing this show I have never given a singer a 10 like I did Ashley Rose!" Producer Charod Williams concluded the scoring by giving me a 9.5, and I somehow managed to make the usual critical Jersey Guys new fans! 

I closed the show with one of my latest self-penned songs titled "Straight to You". Overall, my first radio appearance, which lasted a full 50 minutes, was a success!

I recently received the honor of being named a Top 5 finalist by the Song of the Year songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1's Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners. Song of the Year said it is excited to recognize me for my exceptional songwriting ability for the song "Blind to the Light". I competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. Last year I was honored as a runner up in the Song of the Year contest for her song "Deep".

I have just been selected to appear as a contestant on NBC's new television show called "The Search For The Most Talented Kid in America", and will be heading for California sometime in mid March for the taping! The show will air sometime at the end of March.
